Okay, folks. It’s been over a year since my last update. In that time, I have gained 25 pounds, completely given up on my day planner, and forgot that vitamins even exist.
New Year’s always provides a fresh start. It’s like that “reset button” for life.
There will be a lot of changes this year – personal changes, spiritual changes, undoubtedly work changes (don’t worry CGS! I don’t plan on going anywhere!), financial changes, etc. But my biggest change will be me.
Some things I plan to achieve this year, in addition to weight loss:
~ Lose 62 lbs by 2020, getting down to 200 lbs. Log my foods on SparkPeople daily and actually do the workouts from the workout generator.
~ Prioritize my skin care regimen. Every day, twice a day. My breakouts and wrinkles are testaments that I have not been doing it.
~ Start wearing makeup again. I miss it. I don’t know why I don’t do it more often. I love makeup. It’s just fun.
~ Actually schedule things in my day planner. I bought a fancy one for this year, with stickers and everything. USE IT. Do I need to? Probably not, but the stickers and bright colors make me happy.
~ Lower my coffee intake. I’m currently up to 3 cups a day just in the office. That’s not counting the trips to Starbucks before/after work with a venti quad shot drink.
~ Work my way up to drinking 120 oz of water every day. Yes I know that’s almost four liters. Yes I know that’s almost a whole gallon. I can do it… eventually.
So that’s it for today. Those are my small goals. Anybody want to jump on the bandwagon with me?
